Born on March 4, 1946 in Bitkovo, Ivano-Frankivsk region. Brother of actor Bogdan Benyuk. Graduated from the Kiev State Institute of Theatrical Art named after I. Karpenko-Kary (1971, course of B. Stavitsky and O. Smolyarova). People's Artist of Ukraine (1996). Actor of the Lviv Ukrainian Drama Theater named after Maria Zankovetskaya.
