Lembit Yukhanovich Ulfsak was born in July 1947 in the village of Koeru in Estonia. After graduating from the acting department at the Tallinn Conservatory, Lembit got his first film roles. The film with Lembit Ulfsak - The Tale of the Chekist (1969) - his debut on the cinema screen. And two years later, the first main role in the tape was Seven Days of Tuizu Taavi.
