Born on December 3, 1948 in a large, poor family. Since there was constantly not enough money, the boy often got involved in various unpleasant stories, for which he was expelled from school at the age of 15. Since then, the guy began to make a living on his own. However, I chose not the best way. Became a thief. For this, Ozzy Osbourne went to jail for several months. In the same place - in a prison cell - the young man decided that in the wild he would study music.
And so it happened. He formed his own band, Earth, which would later be renamed Black Sabbath. The beginning of the path was traditional - singing in nightclubs and recording an album of the same name. By the way, this album immediately took the first lines in the charts of the USA and England.
In 1977 Ozzy left the band for a year. Those were hard times for the vocalist. He lost his father and sat down heavily on alcohol and drugs. Only after Osborne gathered another team, the singer began to come to his senses. The albums went one after the other, followed by concerts. The audience was attracted by the outrageous behavior of the soloist, although it was questionable. Agree, it's very unusual to throw meat and offal into the audience during a performance. The result of such antics will be a lot of wild curiosities at the band's concerts. This was undoubtedly exactly the place from which the media could draw sensations, like from a bottomless barrel.
The artist also could not deny himself the pleasure of acting in films. Films with Ozzy Osbourne began to appear at the box office in the late 80s. Most memorable: Candy or Death (1986), Jokers (1995), Nikki the Devil Jr. (2000). Also, his filmography includes more than a hundred paintings and television shows, in which the artist played himself.
In 1997 Osborne decided to return to Black Sabbath, after which the band immediately went on tour. There were attempts to record an album, but for some reason it didn't work out. Ozzy leaves the band again and starts singing solo.
And in May 2002 a new documentary film with Ozzy Osbourne was released. Or, one might say, a reality show. The project was designed to show the viewer the real life of a world-class star and his family. The series had an extraordinary success among the audience, but the critics did not miss the opportunity to toughly go through the script and this whole idea in principle.
Now Ozzy Osbourne continues to be active. And although the years are not the same, the fans still love their hero as they once did in the first Black Sabbath lineup.
