Born on August 13, 1918 in the village of Stavitsa, Ukraine.

Graduated from the studio at the Ivan Franko Kiev Academic Ukrainian Theater (1948).

Since 1948 - an actor of the Zhytomyr Regional Music and Drama Theater, since 1951 - an actor of the Kiev Republican Youth Theater.

In cinema - since 1957, since 1968 - actor at the A.P. Dovzhenko.
Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1976) .
He passed away on September 19, 1995 in Kiev. The actor was buried at the Baikovo cemetery in Kiev.
