Gustav von Wangenheim, whose full name is Ingo Clemens Gustav Adolf Freiher von Wangenheim, a famous German actor, director, screenwriter, was born on February 18, 1895 in Wiesbaden, Germany. His parents were successful film actors, especially his father, who managed to appear in more than 200 films during his career. The son deliberately followed in the footsteps of his father and at the age of 19 he first appeared in films. The first film with Gustav von Wangenheim, which made the actor famous, was the popular 1916 horror film Homunculus. After the overwhelming success of this film work, Gustav became a real star in Germany at that time, he participated in several films at the same time, there was no end of offers.
