Gerard Kravchik - biography, date of birth, place of birth, filmography, clips.
Born May 17, 1953 in France. At the University of Paris-9, he studied economics and the basics of trade, and received a diploma from the famous Parisian film school IDHEC, where he specialized in directing and photography. Gerard Kravchik's debut in cinema was the short film "Le Concept subtil", which won 8 different awards, as well as the Grand Prize of the Montreal Film Festival. This was followed by the paintings "Bull Moreno" (1983) and "Murder at Night" (1984). In 1986 he directed his first feature film, I Hate Actors, for which he was nominated for the Cesar and Michel Odiar. Then Krawchik collaborated with television. In 1997, at the Venice Film Festival, his film Heroines was shown, in 1998 he participated in the creation of Taxi, at the same time filmed commercials for Danone, Mobil, France Telecom and other well-known companies. On the set of Jeanne d'Arc (1999) Gerard Kravchik was the second director of Luc Besson, who later, as a producer, invited him to stage Taxi-2 (2000), Wasabi (2001) and Taxi-3 "(2002). In 2003, the same band - producer Luc Besson and director Gerard Kravchik - released a remake of the film Fanfan Tulip. The main roles in this version were played by Vincent Perez and Penelope Cruz.
