Born on May 6, 1926 in the village of Serebryanye Prudy, Moscow Province, RSFSR, USSR.
In 1952 he graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School, course of I.M. Raevsky.
In 1952-1958 he was an actor at the Central Theater of Transport (now the Theater named after N.V. Gogol).
Since 1958 - actor of the Moscow Art Theater.
In cinema since 1954 (first role - Lieutenant Korolkov in the film "Sea Hunter").
Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1969) .
He passed away on May 24, 1991 in Moscow. The actor was buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery in Moscow.
