Honored Artist of the RSFSR Dmitry Orlovsky was born in 1906 in Moscow. Orlovsky's acting activity began not quite usually - while still in the army, the guy was not at all interested in strategies and tactics, more and more gravitating towards art and theater. But the unexpected news that came to the soldier finally determined his future fate - they were going to appoint Dmitry as a political instructor, and then he, without thinking twice, escapes from the army and gets a job at the Red Proletarian factory.

But he was found and returned to duty. There was only one way out - to quit the party members. He managed to achieve the title of a demoralizing element of the system and leave a military career.

Finally, the guy could do what he had been dreaming about for all these years! He gets a job in the theater of trade and cooperation, and a few later re-establishes his membership in the Communist Party. Now he could perform on the stage of Lenkom and even star in films.

The debut movie with Dmitry Orlovsky was released in 1939 - it was an adventure detective by Alexander Macheret The mistake of engineer Kochin, in which the actor played the episodic role of a railway worker.

But with the beginning of the war, Dmitry leaves the stage and goes to the front, where he miraculously survives.
