Born July 15, 1963, Rodovre, Denmark - Danish actress, producer, screenwriter, fashion model and singer.

At the age of 16, she left school with the consent of her parents to pursue a modeling career. In 1979, she moved first to France and then to Italy, where she became involved in fashion shows and starred for fashion magazines. Nielsen has worked with leading designers such as Giorgio Armani, Gianni Versace and Gianfranco Ferre and has participated in fashion shows in New York, Paris, Milan and Berlin.

In 1984, producer Dino De Laurentiis saw Bridget on the cover of a fashion magazine and, deciding that she was exactly the type that he needed, invited him to the lead role in the fantasy action movie "Red Sonja", where her partner was Arnold Schwarzenegger. This debut film by Bridget was quite successful and immediately made her famous. During the advertising campaign of the picture, she met another action star, Sylvester Stallone, in 1985 she starred in the role of the wife of the Russian boxer Ivan Drago (played by Dolph Lundgren), the main opponent of the hero Stallone in the film "Rocky 4", and on December 13 of the same years Nielsen and Stallone got married in Malibu. In 1986, they again starred in one film, in the action movie Cobra, where Nielsen played a witness pursued by a murderer. After a series of scandals, the couple divorced on July 13, 1987.

In 1987, Bridget starred in the action comedy Beverly Hills Cop 2 (starring Eddie Murphy) as the killer Karla Fry. She then returned to Italy to work on a major television show called The Festival. In Europe, she began her singing career, released the dance music album Every Body Tells A Story and the pop single Body Next To Body in a duet with the famous Austrian musician Falco (Johann Holzel). This album peaked at # 22 in Germany and # 6 in Austria.

In December 1987, Brigita Nielsen appeared on the cover of Playboy magazine, for which she starred nude.

In the late 1980s, Marvel Comics invited Bridget to participate in a promotional photo shoot for the upcoming film about She-Hulk, a green-skinned superheroine from comics. Bridget, who had previously embodied one of the heroines of the Marvel comics, Red Sonja, was seen by the company as an optimal candidate for this role, but it did not go further than photographs, since it was not possible to find investors for the project and it was closed.

In 1992, she released her second album, I'm the One ... Nobody Else, which had little success.

Brigitte returned to active filming, although the level of films was already much lower compared to her work in the mid-1980s: the adventure comedy "Double Agent", the erotic thriller "Passion on the Chain 2", the action movie "Mission of Justice" and other films. not having much success. In the 1990s, Nielsen became an English-language talk show host that was widely broadcast in Europe. In it, she demonstrated that there is more to her than just a beautiful appearance.

On Italian television, she has been invited to host some of the hit shows such as the 1992 Sanremo Music Festival Retromarsh (1995-1997) and ..la sai l'ultima? (1999). She also starred in 4 out of 5 episodes of the Italian fairy tale film "The Cave of the Golden Rose". In 1995, Brigita had a fourth son, Raoul Ayrton (named in memory of a family friend, racer Ayrton Senna, who died a year earlier). After a while, she broke up with her fourth husband (the divorce was officially formalized only in 2005), began to appear more on television (including American) and act in films. In 2000 and 2001, Nielsen released two dance albums "No More Turning Back" and "Everybody's Turning Back" under the stage name Jitta.

In 2003 she became the co-host of Ardita Gjerbea at the famous Albanian music festival "Kenga Magjike".

In 2004, Bridget took part in several reality shows: in the first season of the Italian version of the show "The Mole" and in the third season of the American channel VH1 show "The Surreal Life". At the latter, Nielsen flirted with rapper Flavor Flave from the Public Enemy group, and they soon confirmed that they were a couple, despite the fact that Bridget was still married to Raoul Mayer. The show was such a huge success, thanks in large part to the unusual couple, that in January 2005 VH1 launched its sequel, Strange Love, exclusively dedicated to Bridget and Flavor. The show ended very soon along with the couple's relationship.

In 2004 and 2005, Nielsen took part in two versions of the reality show Big Brother VIP, first in Danish and then on British television. The organizers of the British show staged a surprise for the audience and Bridget, adding her ex-mother-in-law, Sylvester Stallone's mother, Jackie, to the number of participants during the show.

In 2006, Nielsen took part in the new reality show "Unreal Life: Celebrity Games", the participants of which were the most beloved characters of the previous seasons of this show.
