Born September 9, 1980, Kalispell, Montana, USA is an American actress and producer.
Has Norwegian roots. When she was 9 years old, the family moved to San Diego, and the girl became interested in acting.
At the age of 15, Michelle dropped out of high school to begin her acting career in the series Summer of Our Hopes. Prior to that, she received small roles in the films "Species" and "Lassie".
Although Williams initially starred mainly in youth comedies, she was later increasingly invited to roles in independent films, such as "The Station Keeper" and "Land of Plenty." For her role in Wendy and Lucy, she was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award. For his role in Brokeback Mountain, Williams was first nominated for an Oscar and a Golden Globe.
