In 1959 she entered the School of Dramatic Art in Madrid. In 1962 she made her debut on stage, played in plays by Shakespeare, Chekhov, Arthur Miller, Beckett. Started acting in 1960 (in a police television series), has participated in more than 100 films since then. Best known for her roles in the paintings of Pedro Almodovar. Husband - director and screenwriter Antonio Isasi-Isasmendi (born 1927). Daughter, Maria Isasi (born 1975) is a film actress.
