Originally from the Cuban province of Bejual, American film actor Andy Garcia is remembered by viewers for his participation in crime films such as The Untouchables and Ocean's Eleven. He was born on April 12, 1956. At the age of five, his family emigrated to the United States, the reason for this was the revolution that began in Cuba. The father of a young boy opened a cosmetic business, and Andy himself dreamed of becoming a basketball player. And, perhaps, he would have become, if not for a serious illness, which canceled plans for a sports career. But the world has found an excellent actor, which he is considered to be until today.
Garcia received his higher education at the University of Miami, where his first acquaintance with acting took place. Soon, the actor begins performing for the public of the regional theater of the state, and at 22 he decides to move to Los Angeles. Andy Garcia's first roles took place on national television. Taking part in the filming of television series, the actor had to wait as long as 8 years to appear in a really big movie.
