Cheki Kario - biography, date of birth, place of birth, filmography, clips.
Kario was born in Istanbul, Turkey (birth name Ceki Karyo), the son of a Sephardic and Greek woman, and raised in Paris, France.
He studied drama at the Cyrano Theater and later became a member of Daniel Sorano's company, playing many classic roles. After that, Cario joined the National Strasbourg Theater, taking part in contemporary and classical plays.
He also starred in many Hollywood films, often as French characters, as did Jean Reno.
Cario was nominated for a Cesar for Best Actor for his role in The Informant. Received the Jean Gabin Award for his acting talent in 1986.
He was married to Isabella Pasco.
