Ben Affleck was born in Berkeley, California on August 15, 1972. This is an American producer, director, film actor and screenwriter. He won two Oscars for his screenplay for Good Will Hunting, as well as for Operation Argo.
Ben's acting career was not the best, because the roles of Ben Affleck were more than once nominated by the Golden Raspberry as the worst. He received an anti-award for his acting in the films Gigli, Armageddon, Daredevil, Pearl Harbor and Hour of Reckoning.
Ben's mom was a teacher and his father was a doctor. Affleck began acting in films at the age of 12. He got his first role in the TV series Mimi's Journey, which was filmed in 1984. After school, the guy goes to the University of Vermont, but very quickly dropped out and moved to Hollywood. There he begins to act in films. And even though the guys did not immediately manage to successfully sell their script, Miramax nevertheless buys it, and director Gus Van Sant shoots a film based on it, where Robin Williams got the main role. A minimum budget was allocated for filming, however, at the box office, the film paid off more than twenty times! This was a real breakthrough in the life of the now screenwriter Ben Affleck and brings him the Golden Globe and the Oscar, and along with the awards, the path to the world of real big cinema.
In 2013 Ben also won an Oscar as Producer of Best Film of the Year. It was the film Operation Argo. The actor is married and has three children.
