Born November 9, 1950 in Milan. Musician, composer, arranger.
At the age of 6 he sang in the choir, and at the age of 8 he was a soloist. Concerts were held not only in cities in Italy, but also abroad: France, Germany, Austria. At the age of 14 he began to play the hammond organ, and at the same time the first group was formed. He was not even 18 years old when the group began performing in the elite club Piper di Milano, where such atrists as Celentano, Battisti, Patty Pravo, etc., as well as world stars: Jimmy Hendrix, Stivie Winwood often gave concerts , Spenser Davi's, Prokol Harum, and Brian Auger.
As a composer, he wrote music for children, for television programs (for four years his music was featured in the news program on RAI 2). Wrote one operetta to a libretto by Carlo Goldoni. At the age of 24 he became a keyboard player in the group "Toto e Tati", where Toto Cutugno sang. A year later, this group was called the Albatross. It was then that, as arranged by Luigi, a song called "Africa" ??brought him worldwide fame: one of more than hundreds of variations on its theme was Joe Dassin's most famous hit "Indian Summer". And one more melody for Toto Cutugno's song “Volo AZ 501” took second place at the San Remo festival. Together with Toto Cutugno he wrote several songs, one of which is performed by Joe Dassin - "Albatros" (Albatros). His motives and fragments in electronic performance today sound on more than 100 discs of the most famous Italian singers. In 1999, on the verses of the poet Adelio Koliati released almost two dozen songs, one of which was performed by Zucchero in the album Blue sugar.
He worked a lot in cinema and theaters. In the 90s he worked as a music producer at the publishing house and recording studio "Ariston", where he was looking for young talent. Since 2001 he has been living in Moscow, since 2004 he has been a member of the Russian Authors' Society.
