Born June 12, 1967 - German composer.

Badelt began his musical career by writing music for many successful films in his homeland. In 1998, Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer hired Klaus to work at his Media Ventures (now Remote Control Productions) studio in Santa Monica, California, then jointly owned by Jay Rifkin. Since then, Klaus has worked on his own films and television projects, and has collaborated with other former and current Remote Control composers such as Harry Gregson-Williams (The Chronicles of Narnia), John Powell and Jeff Zanelli.

While collaborating with Zimmer, Klaus contributed to the music for the Oscar-nominated films Gladiator, The Thin Red Line and Prince of Egypt, as well as composed music for many well-known directors: Ridley Scott, Tony Scott, Terrence Mallick , John Woo, Katherine Bigelow, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Tom Cruise, Sean Penn, Gore Verbinski and Steven Spielberg. Klaus prepared a collaborative track for the Hollywood Box office hit Gladiator directed by Ridley Scott, and also wrote a part with singer and songwriter Lisa Gerrard. Having composed scores for Gladiator, Mission: Impossible 2 and X-Men, Klaus is featured in three of the most successful films in 2000. Klaus has also collaborated with Zimmer on other successful films such as Pirates of the Caribbean, The Promise and in the 2001 blockbusters Hannibal. "Pearl Harbor".
