Richard Coyle was born in the British town of Sheffield in the winter of 1972. His parents had five children - all boys. Richard spent his childhood and adolescence in his hometown with four brothers. Then he entered to study political science at York University. In parallel, he began to take part in amateur theatrical performances. Having made a choice in favor of acting, he left the university and moved to London, where he entered the school at the famous Old Vic theater.
