Wesley Snipes was born July 31, 1962 in Orlando, Florida. Graduated from the High School for the Performing Arts with a degree in dance, vocal and stage speech. He studied at the State University of New York at Purchase, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree. After graduation, he starred in advertising, played in the theater. In 1987, he appeared in Michael Jackson's music video "Bad", directed by Martin Scorsese.
After that, he played in the comedy "Major League" (1989), the action movie "King of New York" (1990) and Spike Lee's drama "Better Life Blues" (1990) .
