He was born on February 29, 1964 in central Ukraine, and yet his family soon moved to Odessa.
During his school years he began to engage in pantomime. After graduating from high school №18, he entered the Odessa Institute of Food Industry named after MV Lomonosov, where he studied for the only semester. The next three years he served as a sailor in the Northern Fleet.
From 1985 to 1987 he worked as an actor in the Pantomime and Clownery Ensemble "Masks" at the Odessa Regional Philharmonic. From 1987 to 1989 - actor at the Kiev variety theater "Cartoon". In 1989 he returned to the "Masks" comic troupe, where he starred in TV series, feature films and worked on stage until 2002.
At the end of 2002, Komarov left the Masks comic troupe altogether and created the Cologne comic duet, together with Alexei Agopyan.
In 2005 he created the musical group "Dr. BrMental", in which he is a soloist to the present day.
