Since childhood, Boris was very musical and enjoyed whistling his favorite arias after performances. This helped him get a job as an extra in the opera house. Then he was chief of staff of the battalion, or a senior adjutant in the 14th Guards Regiment of the 7th Guards Division of the 10th Guards Army under the command of M.I. Kazakova.
As a result of long battles, 18-19 men remained from the battalion in which Boris Ivanov served. The regiment was sent to reorganize.

After treatment I went on business to Rybinsk. However, on the way in a freight train, all documents and money were stolen from him. So Boris Ivanov was forced to stay in Rybinsk, where he began to work in a drama theater. He really wanted to go to Moscow, to the theater, but they wouldn't let him go.
