American actor Timothy Olyphant was born in Hawaii in May 1968. As a child, he lived in California, where the family moved in search of new opportunities. Even in his youth, Oliphant had two passions: sports and theater.
Timothy originally planned to connect his adult life with swimming. At school, he won several competitions, and later reached the final of the national tournament thanks to a brilliant 200-meter swim. It seemed that Oliphant was waiting for a successful career as an athlete. But one day, out of curiosity, Timothy enrolled in a theater group. At that very moment, once and for all, the scene captivated his thoughts. At one time Oliphant tried to combine theater and sports, but in the end, his love for art turned out to be stronger for him. Timothy had to give up swimming.
After leaving school, Olyphant moved to New York, where he became a student at a drama studio under the direction of William Esper. Soon Timothy achieved his first successes in the theater. In 1995, the actor received the World of Theater Award for his role in the production of Monogamist. Later Oliphant caught himself thinking that the stage was not enough for him.
