Luke Evans was born on April 15, 1979 in Pontypool, Wales, UK. He spent his childhood in the city of Aberbargoyd. At 17 he moved to Cardiff. Graduated from London Central Studio in 2000. Played in productions of the End of the West Theater in London. In 2003 he made his film debut.
