Mimi Kuzyk is a Canadian actress. She is best known for her role as detective Patsy Mayo on the NBC series Hill Street Blues from 1984 to 1986.
Kuzyk was born in Winnipeg and moved to Los Angeles in the early 1980s, where she appeared on television shows such as Remington Steel, The Hotel and The Love Boat, prior to her role in Hill Street Blues. After that, she had supporting roles in two unsuccessful films: "Kiss" (1988) and "Speed ??Zone" (1989), as well as major roles in several made for television. Kuzyk also starred in the short-lived TV series Wolf (CBS, 1989–1990) and The Hidden Room (Lifetime, 1991–1993), and was a guest on Los Angeles Law, Quantum Leap and Murder, She Wrote.
Mid 1990 Kuzyk returned to Toronto where she continued her career in Canadian television. From 2001 to 2004, she starred in the Global Police Procedure Wet Cases, a role in which she earned two Gemini nominations. In 2002, she was nominated for a Gini for Best Supporting Actress in They Can't Get You. She also had notable roles in the films Tainted Reputation (2003), The Day After Tomorrow (2004), Final Cut (2004), Camille's Honeymoon (2007) and Sex After Children (2013), and also in television shows such as Sophie (2008-2009), Unreal (2015) and appeared in the fantasy television series Shadowhunters (2016).
