Andrey Merzlikin was born on March 24, 1973 in the city of Kaliningrad, Moscow Region (since July 1996 - the city of Korolev). His first education was a radio technician in space engineering, then he received a higher education in economics.
In parallel, he graduated from the acting department of VGIK (workshop of E.A.Kindinov). While studying at the institute, he starred in the short film How I Spent My Summer (directed by N. Pogonicheva) and won the Best Actor prize at the VGIK Film Festival.
2001 - 2011 - actor of the Theater of Armen Dzhigarkhanyan, was busy in the performances: "The Inspector General", "Powder Keg", "Crazy Day, or Figaro's Marriage", "She is in the absence of love and death", "Theater-killer".
