Vladimir Zaitsev was born in the city of Sverdlovsk on September 28, 1958. After finishing school, he moved to Moscow in order to study at the theater institute, which he completed in 1980. He studied under the good guidance of Vladimir Andreev, People's Artist of the USSR.
