Jordan Ross Belfort is an American motivator and former broker. He was convicted of fraud related to the manipulation of the securities market and the organization of trading in cheap shares, for which he spent 22 months in prison.
Belfort was born into a Jewish family in the Bronx. His parents Max and Leah Belfort were accountants ^; later the mother became a lawyer. Jordan Belfort grew up in Bayside, Queens. He graduated from the American University (English) Russian. in Washington with a degree in biology. He also studied for a while at the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. Belfort dropped out of college after the dean announced that the "golden age" of dentistry was over and that it was no longer a place to make a lot of money easily.
He was married twice: the first wife was named Denise Lombardo, the second, with whom Jordan Belfort was married from 1991 to 1998, - Nadine Caridi (English Nadine Caridi). From his second marriage, Jordan has two children.
