Son of famous Hollywood director John Huston. Brother of actress Angelica Houston. Born in Rome.
After working on TV, he made his film debut with the film "Mr. North" (Mr. North, 1988), based on a script written by his father and older brother Tony. In the future, he worked rarely and unsuccessfully: the biopic "How to Become Colette" (Becoming Colette, 1991) and the thriller "Getting to Madness" (The Maddening, 1995).
He was the husband of actress Virginia Madsen, and later divorced. In 1995 he made his debut as an actor in the film Leaving Las Vegas, in 1997 he starred as Oblonsky in the film Anna Karenina.
