Actress Irina Muravyova was born in February 1949. Irina's father is Russian, her mother is Belarusian by nationality. The parents of the future theater and film artist met in Germany during the war (the man freed the girl from captivity and took her with him). Soon the couple legalized their relationship. In 1947, a daughter was born to the Muravyov couple, and a couple of years later another girl, Irina, was born.
The artist's path to the stage was thorny, but she understood at school who she wanted to be. And immediately after graduation, Ira applied to several theatrical Moscow universities at once. Muravyov's exams failed miserably (the competition was too great), but she did not give up hope of admission. The next year she passed the exams and was enrolled in the studio of the Russian Academic Youth Theater, which she successfully graduated from.
