Born August 21, 1967, Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada is a Canadian actress.

At the age of 11, she joined the Vancouver Children's Music Theater and later, in high school, toured Europe with the Magee Secondary School Choir. Upon her return, she entered the American Academy of Dramatic Art in Pasadena. In 1985 she moved from Vancouver to Toronto and became a model. Through this activity, she came to Japan and Spain in the late 1980s.

While Moss was in Spain, she landed a role in the drama series Dark Justice, first appearing on television. She moved from Barcelona to Los Angeles with the series in 1992. Moss played one of the models in the small soap opera Model Agency, a spin-off of the hit television series Melrose Place. Her big break came when she was cast as a latex-clad hacker named Trinity in the acclaimed 1999 film The Matrix. Moss played the role of Trinity in the subsequent two sequels of the film, as well as voiced games and animations on the theme of "The Matrix." By the way, she previously starred in a Canadian TV series unrelated to the film, which was also called The Matrix.

After the release of The Matrix, Moss starred opposite Burt Reynolds and Richard Dreyfus in the Disney gangster comedy The Team. She then starred with Val Kilmer in Red Planet, and then co-starred with Juliette Binoche, Johnny Depp and lady Judy Dench in the Oscar-nominated film Chocolate. This was followed by a role in the low-budget independent thriller "Remember" with Guy Pearce in the title role. For this work, Moss won the 2002 Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Voiced Aria T'loak in Mass Effect 2, which was released in January 2010. In 2011, she was involved in the production of the animated film Clockwork Girl, directed by Kevin Konrad Hannah.

In 2012, Moss co-starred in the television series Vegas.
