Born April 26, 1947 in Moscow. In 1972 he graduated from the camera department of VGIK (workshop of L. Kosmatov). He worked as an operator at the "Ekran" State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company of the USSR, since 1986 - director of photography at the "Mosfilm" cinema. Honored Artist of Russia (1996).
