A truly great contribution to the development of the Belarusian theater was made by Alexander Labush, an actor of drama and military genre. Throughout his life, he managed to play more than 40 different roles in performances of the oldest Belarusian theater, which still bears the name of the famous Belarusian writer and poet Yanka Kupala. He also starred in 14 films of Soviet cinema.
Alexander Sergeevich hails from the Minsk region (Pukhovichi village), where he was born on August 11, 1957. Educated at a simple local high school, and then found work at the House of Culture. After working for a year as artistic director, Alexander Labush travels to Minsk and enters the Theater and Art Institute of Belarus there.
