John Curran - biography, date of birth, place of birth, filmography, clips, director, screenwriter, producer.
Born in Utica, New York, USA.
Studied illustration and design at Syracuse University and then worked as a designer and production designer in Manhattan before moving to Sydney, Australia in 1986. There John worked in TV commercials before writing his first screenplay for the short film Down Rusty Down (1996).
He directed his first film debut - Glory (1998), Film Critics Circle of Australia.
Among his works are such paintings as We Don't Live Here (2004), Painted Veil (2006), Stone (2010), The Killer Inside Me (2010, screenwriter) and others.
