Benjamin Thomas Barnes was born on the 20th August 1981 in London. His father was a professor of psychiatry and his mother was one of the world's most renowned marriage counselors who dealt with clients' marriage problems. From a young age, Ben was fond of theatrical performances, taking part in any small kindergarten and school performances. After leaving school, he firmly decided to enter the actor, for which he chose Kingston University. He graduated from it in 2004 with a bachelor's degree.
