Born January 4, 1958 in Swansea, Wales, UK - Welsh actor and screenwriter, best known for his role as Walter Harriman in the television series Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. He also starred in Slides, Beyond the Possible, Andromeda and The Dead, as me.
Prior to Stargate, Jones was a member of the impromptu group Mission Incredibles. Gary Jones joined Toronto's Second City Improv Company in the mid-80s. Together with Second City, he reached Vancouver. For six months there was an impromptu show at the Expo's Flying club. After the end of the tour, Jones was in Vancouver and began his acting career by appearing as a guest on television series.
