Was born on November 25, 1974 in Vladivostok.
From a clipmaker (he shot, in particular, for Zemfira "- a video for the song" AIDS ") he grew into a director of feature films: first a short, then a full length.
The first film directed by Ruminov - the short film Deadline (Deadline / Key Action) - appeared in 2004 and did not go unnoticed, taking prizes from several film forums at once (Kinotavr, Moscow Premiere, Kinoteatr.doc, and Arizona Film Festival, USA). Then there were "The Man Who Was Silent" (2004) and "Dead Daughters" (2007).
In all of these films, as well as in "Loneliness of Blood" (2002), Ruminov acted as a screenwriter.
In 2007, "The Lineman" will be released, where Pavel was invited as a director to the additional shooting.
He treats his debut feature film Dead Daughters like a son.
