Richard Dale Jenkins (born May 4, 1947) is an American film, theater and television actor. Jenkins began working in the theater, and his television debut took place in 1974. Since then, he has played many supporting roles on television and in films, but only became really famous in the early 2000s, playing the role of Nathaniel Samuel Fisher Sr., the father of a family, in one of the most famous HBO series "The Client is Always Dead. ".
He also achieved great success in film, starring in The Visitor, for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor.
