Bogdan Stupka was born in the Lviv region of Ukraine, in a picturesque village called Kulikov. The boy was born on August 27, 1941. In connection with the family's relocation, after the age of seven, his childhood took place in Lviv. Before becoming an actor, Bogdan changed several professions: locksmith, host, photographer, entertainer.
Since 1961 he began to play in the theater, in the cinema since 1970. Since 1991, for two years he was the Minister of Culture of Ukraine, and since 2001 he directed the acting course in the theater.
In 2004, a war drama film with Bogdan Stupka called Svoi brought the actor a nomination for an award and a prestigious award. In this film dedicated to the Patriotic War, Stupka played the role of the main character's father, the sniper Blinov. In total, the actor starred in more than a hundred feature films of various genres. He has fifteen prestigious awards and prizes for various achievements in the field of cinema.
