Born on November 16, 1966 in Chisinau.
In 1991 he graduated from the correspondence department of the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University, in 1993 - the correspondence department of the Faculty of Film Studies at VGIK (workshop of V. Utilov). In 1995-1996. worked as a director and screenwriter for the children's television program "Sesame Street" (NTV, ORT).
