Juan Moreno y Herrera Jimenez, better known all over the world as the legendary French actor Jean Reno, was born on July 30, 1948 in Casablanca, Morocco. Juan's parents were Spanish, who fled from the dictatorial regime to another country. Only when the boy was 12 years old and it became safer in Europe after the terrible Second World War, the Moreno family decided to move to France. In a foreign country, no one expected refugees with open arms, the family had an extremely difficult time. Only in 1970, after a hard service in the French army, then Juan Moreno was finally able to get rid of his refugee status and obtain the well-deserved French citizenship. At the same time, the guy begins to passionately get involved in the theater. He takes acting lessons, attends various master classes and gets his first roles in the theater.
