Graduated from the Faculty of Geography, Moscow State University. MV Lomonosov Moscow State University (1988) and the Faculty of Cinema History and Theory, TIS School of Arts, New York University (1994).
In filmmaking since 1990. In 1989-1990. served as a research assistant at the Cinema Museum at the USSR SK. In 1990-1991. - Manager of the Janus Cinema in Cambridge, Massachusetts. 1992 to 1994 served as coordinator of the Jewish Museum International Film Festival at Lincoln Center. In 1994, he was the executive director of the Center for Visual Arts. From 1995 to 1996 - Producer of the Moscow office of the television company "WTN" (World Television News). In 1995-1998 - Deputy producer of the directorate of film programs of the TV company "ORT". In 1998-2002. - Producer, head of the department of international projects of the film company "NTV-PROFIT". Since 2003, he has been the General Director of the TV-MUVI film company.
