Was born on March 9, 1953 in Donetsk.
Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2001).
In 1973 he graduated from the pedagogical department of the Crimean Art School, in 1979 - the art faculty of VGIK (workshop of A. Borisov, L. Platov). Since 1979 he has been working for the Mosfilm film studio: as an artist-decorator, since 1982 - a production designer. Set designer (with D. Bogorodsky) of the play "Ladies and Hussars" (1997, Kursk Drama Theater named after Pushkin).
