Born April 8, 1957, Tashkent, Uzbek SSR, USSR - Soviet and Israeli actor and screenwriter.
After graduating from school No. 44 (1964-1974) and the Tashkent Institute of Railway Engineers (Faculty of Construction), a civil engineer by profession (1975-1980), Military service: Belovo, Kemerovo region. Construction battalion. 1980-1982 he served two years in the Soviet army and worked as a master in Uzbekistan, tried himself in the Tashkent theater studio.
In 1985 he left for Moscow and entered GITIS on the course of Andrei Goncharov and Mark Zakharov. After graduating from GITIS, he was admitted to the Mayakovsky Theater, and in 1990, together with his wife Svetlana and a group of actors led by Yevgeny Arie, left for Israel.
