Born 28 August 1907.
Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1956). Honored Artist of the Mari ASSR.
In 1924-1927. studied at the State Theater College. A.V. Lunacharsky. In 1927-1937 he worked at the Studio Theater under the direction of R. N. Simonov. Since 1937 he worked at the Theater. Vakhtangov and taught at GITIS (since 1965 - professor) .
He died on May 16, 1976 in Moscow.
