Born March 22, 1948, South Kensington, London, England - English composer, producer, screenwriter and actor.

Lloyd Webber began writing his own music at a young age, writing the first published six-part suite at nine years old. He also did his "productions" with Julian and Aunt Viola in his toy theater, which he built at Viola's suggestion. He later became the owner of several theaters in the West End. His aunt Viola, an actress, took Andrew with him to watch her show and take a look at the theater world from behind the scenes.

In 1981, Webber wrote the musical Cats to the words of Nobel laureate TS Eliot.
