December 19, 1919, Saratov, USSR (Russia) - July 9, 1990, Moscow, USSR (Russia) - Soviet theater and film actor.

In 1939 he graduated from the studio at the Central Theater Center and became its actor. In 1944 he made his film debut.

Since 1960 he has acted as a theater director. Since 1973, Andrei Alekseevich has become a teacher at the Department of Acting at VGIK.

Andrey Petrov People's Artist of the RSFSR (1978). Laureate of the Stalin Prize, second degree (1952). Honored Artist of the RSFSR (04/08/1954).
