Rena Grick, better known as Rena Mero, was born in 1967 in Jacksonville. In 1990, after winning the first beauty contest, Rena worked as a model for some time. The girl represented such famous brands as Pepsi, Guess, L'Oreal. She was married to Wayne Richardson, gave birth to a child from him. Some time after the death of her husband in a car accident, she married a second time to professional wrestler Mark Mero.
In 1996, the Meros joined the World Wrestling Federation. Debuting under the name Sable, Rena became one of the first women to fight in WWF. She soon became very popular, even surpassing her husband. Mero won the second champion title after it was reinstated. After becoming sick, Rena left the company and filed a lawsuit against her former employers for unacceptable working conditions and sexual harassment.

The couple got married in 2006. In addition to a daughter from her first marriage, Rena has a child with Mark Mero and two children born after the wedding with Lesnar.
