Born March 13, 1960, Stanislav, Ivano-Frankivsk, USSR (Ukraine) - Ukrainian poet, prose writer and translator, essayist.
In 1985, together with Viktor Neborak and Alexander Irvants, he founded the poetic group Bu-Ba-Bu. Since 1991 Andrukhovich has been a co-editor of the literary and art magazine "Chetverg".
Since 2005 he began to cooperate with the Polish experimental-instrumental group "Karbido".
Andrukhovich's presence in Ivano-Frankivsk became an important factor in the fermentation of the so-called "Stanislav phenomenon" and the formation of the local creative elite.
The work of Andrukhovych has a significant impact on the current literary process in Ukraine, the first facts of interest in modern Ukrainian literature in the West are associated with his name.
