Graduated from Pine Crest School in 1983, received a BA in Political Science from Stanford University in 1987. Trained the arts of comedy and improvisation at Groundlings Theater, working with comedians Melissa McCartney and Dax Shepard.
First appeared on television in the TV series "Silk Networks" and "China Beach" in the early 1990s.
