His novel The Life and Purpose of a Dog was published in July 2010. It stayed on the New York Times bestseller list for a full 19 weeks. In total, this novel was on the magazine's bestseller list for about a year.

B. Cameron is also a columnist for Hawaii's MidWeek Newspaper, where he writes humorous stories about his life.

Bruce Cameron creates novels about our smaller brothers, who are able to remind people of the main values ??in life. The main character, a selfless dog, by his example shows what is really worth paying attention to, and what is only insignificant, and therefore not very important in life. B. Cameron's novels are clever prose capable of showing the soul not only of a person, but also of his four-legged friend. An unconventional look at a theme that is often played out in a variety of works, the absence of cliches, a vivid plot that evokes genuine emotions, significantly elevate this novel above other books about animals.

The author helps readers to better understand those who live side by side with us, to look at pets with different eyes and become a little better.
