Since adolescence, Jonas has been fond of playing tennis, which made his acting debut in the cinema. After responding to an advertisement seeking "a young man between 15 and 17 years old who can play tennis" for the Belgian film, Jonas Bloke starred in Joaquim Lafosse's Private Lessons.
